Over 2,000 attendees at Sabor a Cabo 2015 for a grand celebration of gastronomy and music
In its 10th edition, Sabor a Cabo 2015 broke all records of assistance with more than 2,000 attendees who got the opportunity to sample some of the best food Los Cabos has to offer, with close 40 of the top restaurants competing for the palates of the public. This year showed a surge in tourist participation to the event, allowing to showcase and promote the best local gastronomy to our visitors.
Sabor a Cabo is now the major gastronomic event in Baja California, and of of the major in all of Mexico.
The event was inaugurated by Carlos Mendoza Davis, Governor of Baja California Sur and Arturo De La Rosa, mayor of Los Cabos, accompanied by Hugo Vela Reyna, national president of Canirac México, and Gianmarco Vela, president of Canirac Los Cabos.
Governor Mendoza emphasized the importance of such events for the positioning of Los Cabos, its gastronomy and its restaurant sector that plays a fundamental role in the local economy.
Sabor a Cabo 2015 featured nearly 40 of the best restaurants of Los Cabos, some of its best bars, and more than a dozen wineries, wine shops, breweries, tequila and mezcal.
The evening included dance on the theme Cave Painting by Henrry Lopez Studio, as well as Matachines pre-hispanic dancers and was highlighted by a live concert by singer-songwriter, Lila Downs.
